For 25 years 1078 Gallery has used art and the creative experience to connect Chico to a larger world.

We are a venue for new, dynamic, and experimental artworks. Local and touring artists grace our space with their visual, musical, literary, and performance work.

The 1078 Board of Directors, its members, its interns and volunteers, and its friends, patrons, and advisors welcome you. In our space at 820 Broadway, we are breathing new life into our original mission, a mission that has been wonderfully crafted and carried through by everyone who has worked on behalf of the gallery since its birth in 1981.

We invite everyone to 1078 Gallery to witness and participate in artistic events. We intend to create a vibrant and expansive space, a place where people of different ages, cultural origins, and ideological preferences can connect with one another as we explore what makes our living a work of art.
